The Finance laboratory
Finance, declared.
Same discipline. Different work. Different capacity. Different architecture.
This laboratory has not run yet. No inventory has been taken, no delegation analysis has been drafted, and no destination role has been named — so none is published here. What follows is what this laboratory will run when it does, and nothing more.
In preparationSame discipline. Different work.
The method that redesigned five HR jobs does not change when the department does. What changes is the work, the capacity available to it, and the architecture that results — which is exactly why this laboratory has to run its own inventory rather than borrow People's.
What this laboratory will run
The same nine questions.
Every Human Workday laboratory answers the same nine questions against whatever function it is run against:
- The job as inherited — title, task inventory, employment scale.
- Where the workday actually goes — time-allocation evidence, graded honestly.
- The delegation analysis — work units by disposition: system, Ai, hybrid, external, eliminate, reserved human — each with an evidence grade and a durability condition.
- The recomposed role — purpose, outcomes owned, judgment exercised, decision authority.
- The new title and capacity allocation.
- The new workday — a day in the life, fictional and declared as such.
- The coherence check and the strongest real counter-case, not a strawman.
- The legal wrapper note — what the employment record must do to keep up.
- The evidence register — every claim marked, weaknesses disclosed inline.
Where this comes from
For a laboratory that has already run, see People. For the other declared laboratory, see Information Technology. Every laboratory is reachable from the applied hub.
